Flatbed Operations Manager

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Flatbed Operations Manager to lead our flatbed brokerage operations and deliver exceptional service to both customers and carriers.

What you’ll do

• Lead with ownership: Oversee the full lifecycle of flatbed shipments from booking to delivery.
• Develop and strengthen partnerships: Foster long-term relationships with both customers and carriers.
• Ensure seamless execution: Monitor load progress, identify potential issues, and proactively deliver solutions.
• Drive operational excellence: Leverage data insights to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
• Optimize carrier performance: Ensur compliance, accountability, and alignment with Forrest Logistics’ high standards.

What we are looking for

• 2+ years of experience in operations and planning within the flatbed industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
• Industry Expertise: Experience in flatbed brokerage, with a deep understanding of best practices and market dynamics.
• Strategic Problem-Solver: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement innovative solutions.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Experience with financial reporting, lane analysis, and cost optimization to drive business growth.
• Strong Communicator: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
• Operational Leadership: Proven ability to multitask, manage priorities, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
