Your Impact

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, test, and delivery
• Develop web applications using a variety of languages and technologies
• Facilitate design and architecture brainstorms
• Participate in code reviews
• Collaborate with team members to define and implement solutions

Qualifications we Value

• Experience with Azure Event-Driven Architecture: Hands-on knowledge of Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus for building scalable, event-driven solutions.
• Integration Skills: Ability to integrate various systems and services using RESTful APIs and other integration techniques.
• Proficiency in building applications using Python code.
• Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript: Proficiency in front-end development for web applications.
• Write basic SQL queries and general knowledge of relational databases.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of troubleshooting issues across different layers of applications and services.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems for collaborative development.
• Agile Development: Experience working in Agile environments, managing tasks, and delivering features iteratively.
• Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication skills for working in teams and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Security Best Practices: Understanding of application security principles and best practices, including data encryption and secure coding techniques.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deploying applications.

Qualifications we prefer

• Undergraduate in Software Engineering, Computer Science or 2+ plus years of experience developing applications
• Experience working with the Azure cloud platform
• Knowledge of Transportation EDI Transactions 204, 990, 214, 210
• Experience with IoT, GPS
• Proficiency with C# a plus
• Ability to implement search functionality using Elasticsearch, including indexing, querying, and data retrieval a plus
• Designing SQL databases and procedures a plus
• Drayage, transportation, or logistics experience
